“Every aspect of (‘Broxen’) is excellent. A very expansive listen……the new album is very fine indeed.”
Adam Walton, BBC Radio Wales
"Call it lo-fi, call it D.I.Y., call it whatever you will but Broxen is a fine collection of mixed beats, styles and ideas from a man not prepared to stand still and spread his electro wings."

Squarepusher needs no introduction. Here is what he says about his track 'MIDI Sans Frontiéres':
"It was an attempt to challenge the toxic legacy, namely the legitimisation of racist and xenophobic attitudes in the uk, generated by several leading campaigners in the uk's referendum on membership of the EU. All people were invited to collaborate using musical materials that I provided, the only stipulation being that to be listed in this archive, any work had to be titled MIDI Sans Frontiéres. A big thank you to all involved."

About:
As Dementio13 and his other aliases, Cardiff-based Paul Foster explores the potential of genre and sound-design to produce music which at once subverts and exploits the idea of ‘accessibility’. At times challenging, at other times completely conventional, Foster’s music veers between the mainstream and the experimental, drawing on a long tradition of electronic music, from early radiophonics and tape loops, to electropop, krautrock, techno, ambient and beyond.
Though they could occasionally draw criticism for being jarringly too eclectic from track to track, Dementio13’s albums never stand still; creating varied soundtracks which never let the listener settle into patterns. Like a film, or everyday life, the music reflects changing moods, narratives and circumstances. And whilst much ‘ambient’ music encourages passivity in the listener, they are not able to remain passive for long.
